As Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt prepares to surrender before a special TADA court here to serve his sentence in the 1993 bomb blasts case, a steady streamline of celebrities arrived at the 53-year-old actor's suburban residence to support him.

Sources close to Dutt said the actor would leave his house at around 2pm and head to the court in south Mumbai. Actors Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and directors David Dhawan, Sanjay Gupta and Apoorva Lakhia (with whom Dutt worked in 'Zanjeer' remake) visited Dutt last night at his residence in Imperial Heights in suburban Bandra.

Directors Rajkumar Hirani and Milan Luthria, businessman and Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra, Bhushan Kumar, producers Rahul Agarwal and Vashu Bhagnani, politician Kripashankar Singh and actor Kiran Kumar arrived at Dutt's residence this morning. A large posse of policemen has been deployed outside Dutt's residence since last night.

The Supreme Court in its March 21 verdict awarded five years' imprisonment to the 53-year-old actor for illegal possession of arms. Dutt will surrender before a designated Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) court today as the apex court on May 14 refused to grant him more time to surrender for undergoing remainder of the three-and-half year jail term.

On May 10, the Supreme Court had dismissed Dutt's plea seeking review of its judgement on his conviction and the five-year jail term.
