The next season of controversial reality show Bigg Boss is just a few weeks away, and even as speculation continues about who between Salman and Shah Rukh will play host, here’s a list of those who have been approached to participate as 'inmates'.
Actor Gaurav Chopra, known for his role as Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore in Uttaran, at Golden Petal Awards 2013.
While Aam Aadmi Party member Kumar Vishwas recently revealed that he has been offered to participate in the show, sources say that TV actors Tina Dutta, Arjun Bijlani, Karan Kundra, Debina Bonerji and Gaurav Chopra, too, are in talks with the production house.
"Gaurav’s ex, actor Narayani Shastri, has also been approached to participate,” reveals a source. Couples are common on the show. While season three saw actor-couple Tanaaz and Bakhtiyaar Irani, last year, TV actor Apurva Agnihotri and wife, actor Shilpa, garnered eyeballs. Divorced TV couple Delnaaz Irani and
Rajiv Paul made news in the sixth season. Meanwhile, sources further reveal that former cricketer Sreesanth, who is under a life ban for his involvement in match-fixing, has also been offered the show. Actor Neetu Chandra wrote on Facebook that she was offered the show but has turned it down.
"To add some more drama, the producers are also in talks with a Mumbai-based cross-dresser and bar dancer, Sonu,” reveals another source. While the celebs in question and the host channel remain tight-lipped on it, the producers, too, choose not to divulge anything.
"As per our policy we cannot comment on market speculation," says Deepak Dhar, CEO of the show’s production house.
