Bollywood choreographer Oscar Unger,of the `Vijay-Oscar' duo, today died at a local hospital. He directed dance moves for over 100 films spanning over 3 decades.
Actor and vice-president of Cine and TV Artists Association Gajendra Chouhan said Oscar, 75, died of brain hemorrhage. He is survived by his wife.
Vijay-Oscar had choreographed for several films in 1970s and 1980s, including Lahu Ke Do Rang (1980) and Kasam Paida Karnewali Ki (1984).
In 1996 he was one of the choreographers for Salman Khan, Manisha Koirala starrer Khamoshi: The Musical. More recently he was part of crew on Shiney Ahuja, Soha Ali Khan-starrer Khoya Khoya Chand (2007).
In a 2007 Indian Express interview Oscar was asked who his favourite dancing stars were? And he had replied: "Helen, Zeenat Aman, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit and Govinda.
His one wish was to make Hrithik Roshan dance. He had said: "There aren't many good dancers in the industry today except him.
