It’s a known fact that Jackie Shroff’s son, Tiger, is set to make his Bollywood debut this year, with the Sabbir Khan-directed Heropanti.
But a few days ago, reports suggested that Jackie’s daughter, Krishna will also step into showbiz — albeit as an assistant director to Aamir Khan.
It was suggested that since Jackie and Aamir are close friends, the latter has promised to get Krishna on board for his next directorial venture.
When asked if he has any such plans, Aamir says, "Not really. I have met Krishna only once with Jackie and Ayesha (Shroff; Jackie’s wife). As of now, she is not working with me, but if the occasion does arise, I would like to work with her."
Not many know that Tiger’s teenaged sister has been studying film-making in Dubai.
Interestingly, in 2012, another set of reports had suggested that Aamir will launch Tiger in Bollywood. Reportedly, Aamir had assured Jackie and his son that the doors of his production house are open for Tiger whenever he’s ready and that he is willing to help out with the marketing plans of his debut film.
"I have met Tiger on a couple of occasions. He is an extremely bright boy with a lot of potential and a very bright future. But I don’t think I need to help him also because I think he will do very well for himself and has got a film on his own. So, it’s not true to say that I have helped Tiger. I haven’t helped him at all," says Aamir.
