After struggling for years and finally getting critical acclaim for his roles, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is now venturing into mainstream Bollywood movies with upcoming roles with stars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. And he is now also joining their league in another big field — that of brand endorsement.

A source close to the actor reveals, “Nawaz has recently signed an endorsement deal with a mobile brand which has been in the market for some time now. The company didn’t have a brand ambassador for a while, the last one being Sonam Kapoor two years back.”
After increasing his remuneration for films, Nawaz is also commanding crores for the ads. “The deal for the brand will run into a couple of crores,” the source says.
The source further adds that the brand’s marketing team met with Nawaz and has come up with a branding plan. “He is supposed to be projected in a very dashing manner,” adds the insider.
A close friend of Nawaz informs us, “This is the first advertisement that Nawaz has signed. He’s really happy with the way his career is going at this point.” Despite repeated attempts, both, the representatives of the brand and Nawaz weren’t available for comments.
