The teaser of the Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Bang Bang released on Tuesday, and director Siddharth Anand says he is “both excited and nervous”.

“I spent three years writing the film. The kind of action you’ll get to see here has hardly been attempted in the industry before. It’s a blend of action and romance in the truest sense. I am really happy with the way Hrithik and Katrina have infused life into their characters,” says Anand, talking about the action-romantic thriller.

About his lead actors, Anand shares, “Both of them are thorough professionals. Hrithik amazed me and the crew by his sheer hardwork and dedication. For instance, he would take dry runs of the cars, practice his lines several times to ensure everything was perfect.”
The film, say the makers, boasts of action sequences shot across international locations, including, Greece, Abu Dhabi and Bangkok.
Talking about Katrina, Anand says, “Katrina doesn’t need explanation of what she is capable of doing either. I had hoped to work with her in 2007-08, but that didn’t work out. I am happy that finally in 2014, I am getting to direct her. She is talented, hardworking, determined and passionate.”
Bang Bang, produced by Fox Star Studios, releases on October 2. Anand hopes “the audience will love the film as much as we do.”
