Fawad already enjoys a huge fan following back home. Keeping that in mind -- UTV -- the studio backing his upcoming movie Khoobsurat -- has decided to release the film in the neighbouring country as well.

Given the regulations between the two countries, not all films from India get a release in Pakistan, but a lot of them have been making their way there of late.

Fawad tells us, "I have been told that the film is releasing in Pakistan, and a deal is being worked out right now. I would be very disappointed if it doesn’t release. I owe it to my fans there. I really count on them, as they have made me what I am today."

A source close to the production house says, "Fawad is a big name in Pakistan, and the studio would not like to miss out on the opportunity to explore this relatively new market."

In fact, the makers are also planning to release another film -- Raja Natwarlal -- which stars Emraan Hashmi and Humaima Mailk, in Pakistan. Their recent release, Kick, got them good returns from the country," adds the source.

When contacted, a studio spokesperson confirmed the news.
