Model Poonam Pandey, who is geared up for her debut film, Nasha, believes the role is perfect for her. “The storyline is very entertaining and the script is new. There is not only skin show in this movie but also a lot drama,” says Poonam. “If this film does well then I’ll definitely strip for my fans as disappointing anybody is not in my nature,” she adds.
On being compared with the famous porn star, Sunny Leone, Poonam says, “I hate being compared to a porn star because in my film, there are dialogues as well, not just ooh-aah.” She adds that if her fans like to see her in less clothes then it is a compliment for her.
On the film poster controversy started by Pakistani actor Veena Malik, who alleged that the poster of Nasha is lifted from the poster of her film, Supermodel, Poonam says, “I don’t know anything about it. The posters are out anyway and the movie is about to release so talking about the poster is irrelevant.”
The actor also plans to visit the Seemapur police station regarding objections by some sections of the audience who feel that the poster is obscene and is unacceptable during Ramzaan. “Now that I am in Delhi, if I get time, I’ll go there as I can always apologise if someone felt offended because of my film poster,” she adds.
The upcoming actor also states that she is always available on Twitter for her fans and regularly tweets about her daily routine. About her family reactions to this movie, Poonam says, “They always get angry with me and now they have given up on the idea of convincing me. So they don’t bother me anymore.”
