While actor Salman Khan has been urging people not to link his upcoming film, Jai Ho, with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), his brother and actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan says that somewhere there is a connection between the two.

“It’s a very good coincidence that Jai Ho somewhere reflects the current scenario in the country,” Arbaaz said at an event. AAP, formed by Arvind Kejriwal, who is now Delhi’s chief minister, came into existence in 2012 and it’s stunning show in the Delhi assembly elections, last December, showed the power of the common man. Jai Ho also focusses on the power of a common man.

Arbaaz is all praise for the film and hopes that it becomes a huge hit.“People will get to see the Salman they have always wanted to see. The film has turned out very well. Inshallah, it will be a huge hit,” Arbaaz said. Jai Ho also features newcomer Daisy Shah and actors Sana Khan and Tabu. The movie releases January 24.

Meanwhile, after using brand names like Zandu Balm and Fevicol in Dabangg franchise, the makers of the film have come up with a peppy song called Photocopy, though their first choice was Xerox. “Earlier, the word Xerox was decided upon, but getting permission to use the brand name would have been time consuming, so we stuck to photocopy,” Sohail Khan, director of the film, said in a statement.
