Actor Rajkummar Rao has been receiving lot of film offers after bagging the National Award. Recently, he was nominated for a National Award for the best actor category for Shahid, which is a biographical film on the life of lawyer and human rights activist Shahid Azmi, who was shot dead in 2010. Rao portrayed the role of the slain lawyer.
Rajkummar Rao was bitten by the acting bug while doing theatre in school. He sure is taking the right steps to make a dent with his performance.
“I am getting lot of offers (after wining the award). Otherwise, I have not changed. And I’d like to remain like this. I am glad that I am getting to work with many people,” says the 29-year-old.
Having started his career with Dibakar Banerjee’s anthology Love Sex aur Dhokha’ (LSD), Rao has always made an impact on the audience’s mind with his powerful performances. He has garnered praises for his acting prowess in films such as Kai Po Che, Shahid and Queen. He has again teamed up with Mehta for his next.
