Co-stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra have bonded well during the making of their upcoming film, which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
We’ve learned that on the sets, Ranveer would complain about injuries or illnesses so often that Priyanka even came up with a nickname for him.
“Whenever Ranveer and Priyanka used to chat in between shots or during breaks in their schedules, he used to tell her stories about how, when and during which film’s shoot he had injured himself. He used to discuss the pain he had been through and how hard he had to work out to stay fit. It was during one such discussion that she started calling him ‘Nazuk Nawab’,” says a source close to Priyanka.
Since then, Priyanka has not missed an opportunity to tease Ranveer, who has taken his nickname sportingly. “Whenever he brings up his injuries or any weakness, she addresses him as Nazuk Nawab. They share a great bond, so Ranveer doesn’t take any offence,” adds the source.
Ask Priyanka about the nickname and she says, “I started calling him Nazuk Nawab when we didn’t know that he was suffering from dengue. Before the diagnosis, he would feel week and feverish on the sets. That is when I came up with the name.”
