Kabir Khan shot the Sajid Nadiadwala thriller in Gulmarg. Starring Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan in the lead, it’s based on the 26/11 terror attacks that took place in Mumbai. The film is scheduled to hit theatres by the end of this year.

Saif Ali Khan, who will be seen playing a secret service agent in Kabir Khan's next, suffered a back spasm recently. A source reveals that Saif was asked to rest, but he decided to fly to Patiala for the film's shoot to avoid any inconvenience.

"Since the director had planned some crucial action sequences, Saif realised that it would be difficult to reschedule them," adds the source.

When contacted, Saif's doctor, Dr RK Agarwal, confirmed this news. He says, "He underwent physiotherapy and was prescribed relaxants and pain-relieving injections for the same. He could have rested, but was keen to fly out for work. He has been advised rest."

Despite several attempts, Saif couldn't be contacted.
