Actor Salman Khan is fondly called ‘bhai’ in Bollywood circles, and now this name seems to have caught the fancy of people in far away Poland.
Salman Khan shoots for Kick in national capital, Delhi.
Reportedly, Salman, 48, who was on a 40-day shooting schedule for his upcoming film in Warsaw, Poland, had Non Resident Indian (NRI) fans lining up to meet him, and calling him ‘bhai’. And soon, even the Europeans started calling him by that name.
A source close to the actor reveals, “His Indian fans would travel for hours to meet Salman. They would shout out ‘bhai’ every time they caught a glimpse of him. And this went on for most of the days that he was there. And after a point, the name caught on,” says the source, adding, “Initially, those who weren’t aware of the moniker were amused, but once they figured what it meant, the locals started calling him ‘bhai’ too.”
