Salman Khan-starrer Jai Ho trailer which was scheduled to be launched at a single screen theatre in the presence of movie-goers, on December 5, has now been postponed.
The video is expected to see light of the day on either December 11 or December 12.
TV actress Sana Khan of Bigg Boss fame, who is making her Bollywood debut in Jai Ho tweeted: "The first look promo of Jai Ho will not be launched tomorrow. It will be launched tentatively on 11th or 12th December..!"
The first look of Hindi films are generally launched in the presence of media. The trailer of Jai Ho was scheduled to be unveiled at Chandan, a single-screen theatre in suburban Mumbai, on December 5.
"Trailer launches are generally media event, but Salman wanted common people to get the first glimpse of his film," a spokesperson of Jai Ho had said.
Jai Ho is a story of an upright common man who fights a solitary war against corruption and injustice. The film, a remake of Telugu film Stalin, also stars Tabu, Daisy Shah and Danny Denzongpa, among others.
The film, directed by Sohail, is scheduled to release on January 24.
