is shifting to Panvel. Now before you jump to some conclusion and there is mass hysteria on the streets of Bandra, let us inform you that he will be there only for the two months needed to shoot his next, Kick. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who is making his directorial debut with the film, will shift in with Salman.
A source says, “Salman is extremely fond of his Panvel farmhouse. Whenever he gets a break, he goes there to unwind and his family accompanies him. So when Salman realised that the next schedule of Kick is going be shot in a studio in Panvel, he coaxed Sajid to shift to his farmhouse.”
The unit, however, will not stay in Panvel and will travel to and fro from Mumbai. It will be an hour-and-half-long commute for them. By staying at the farmhouse, Salman and Sajid will save time. The source adds, “Instead of a hotel, the extensive property will work well for his entourage. Salman also has a fully-functional gym with all amenities on the property.”
The first schedule of the film was wrapped up in London in August this year and they are set to shoot extensive action scenes from next week. “The shift will help Salman as he films the action sequences. He would save time during the commute,” adds the source.
The actor has given bulk dates for the film. Once the schedule wraps up, he will promote another film, Jai Ho. Sajid confirms the development. He says, “We are starting the shoot and will be shifting to Salman bhai’s Panvel farmhouse for that period of time.”
