Recently Sherlyn Chopra's absence at the launch of the trailer of her much-hyped film Kamasutra 3D raised a few eye brows.
While speculation on the reasons behind her absence abound, Sherlyn has now set the record straight stating, "I shot for Kamasutra 3D for barely 5 days. After which, a series of irreconcilable differences had risen between the makers of the film and myself."
"The makers had made drastic changes in the story & screenplay of the film which were not acceptable to me. I had made known to the makers that I could not proceed with the shooting of the film as my best interests were being violated by them," Sherlyn said.
She further added. "I chose to exit from the film without creating a ruckus. I wish Team Kamasutra 3D best wishes. However, I cannot promote the film anymore on any platform whatsoever."
On enquiring whether this will create problems in the future, Sherlyn said, "The makers of the film can not persuade me to do the film as they know very well that it is they who violated the terms & conditions of their agreement with me."
Interestingly, Sherlyn also goes on record to clarify that she will not take any legal action for the violation of agreement. She said, "Besides I have no time or inclination to press charges against them as I'm genuinely occupied with an All India Promotional Tour and an International Promotional Tour for Bad Girl."
Written and directed by Rupesh Paul, Kamasutra 3D is slated for release in May this year.
