This Independence Day, Farhan Akhtar will perform his first online concert with his band, Farhan Live.
Titled Stroke Of Midnight, the show will begin building up at 11.30 pm on August 14, and by 12 am (August 15; Independence Day) it will be in full gear.

Fans from around the world can sign in to watch the show. "Interestingly, there is a fee of only Rs. 1 to register. Within barely 11 hours of putting up the post, we got as many as 62,000 people signing up on strokeofmidnight.com. Most of them are the youth, who are keen on getting access to watching Farhan perform live," says a source close to him.
Anurag Rao, co-founder of the band, tells us, "Farhan Live has always been about building an ‘artiste-to-fan’ direct connect, as well as spreading the message of MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination — a campaign that was started by Farhan) to young India through music. The constant evolution of technology in the media business is helping artistes reach out to a wider demographic of music consumers around the world."
Farhan Akhtar, too, is excited about his first-ever digital concert. "It’s my first online streaming performance, which will enable people to watch us perform online for just Rs. 1. I’m really looking forward to it."
