In fact, the makers feel that the character of the creature, which Bhatt has conjured, is something Indians can boast about. It is based on Indian history and inspired by the popular mythological stories like Vikram Aur Betaal, Panchatantra and others. Vikram says that in this film, the creature gets as much prominence as the lead actors. “It has the same amount of screen time as the hero and heroine. I know for sure that when the audience sees it, they will make others see it too,” he says, adding, “If this works, we would have opened a whole new avenue for other filmmakers in India.”Watch: Creature 3D trailer

The response we have received from the industry is overwhelming and we are confident about our VFX,” he says, adding, “Our creature doesn’t come and go. It is present for an hour on screen.” Also read: Creature 3D not a horror movie, says Bipasha Basu
