British comedian Russell Brand and American pop singer Katy Perry - who are due to tie the knot on Saturday - arrived in Jaipur on Wednesday evening and left straight for a desert resort near Ranthambhore where their nuptial ceremonies will take place.
The celebrity couple is reportedly getting hitched according to Hindu tradition at the luxurious Aman-e-Khas resort, 160 km south of Jaipur.
Around 85 guests, including English singer Noel Gallagher of the rock band Oasis, British comedian Jonathan Ross and his wife Jane Goldman, and R&B singer and Perry's best friend Rihanna, are expected to join the celebrations.
According to sources, the lavish wedding is expected to cost around Rs 20 crore.
"The wedding will be theme-based and all the guests will be wearing the same colour. But, nobody knows the colour theme yet," the source said.
Brand and Perry are expected to go on a tiger safari at the Ranthambore National Park on Thursday.
