The Pitt family is divided over Brad and Angelina’s split
While reports emerge that Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has spent over $ 1.1 million on a bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills, his family seems to to be divided over his split with partner, actress Angelina Jolie.
Where Pitt’s brother, Doug, 41, is urging him to break his relationship with Angie, his (Pitt’s) mother, Jane is desperately trying to save his relationship for the sake of Brad and Angelina’s six children.
Jane, who is famously close to Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, is keen for the couple to repair their five-year union and will be meeting Jolie to discuss the matter, reported Daily Mail.
“Jane wants what is best for her son and grandchildren and Angie has agreed to meet her. She has stuck at her own marriage and worked with families for 30 years trying to keep them together,” said a source.
She believes her skills as a mediator will come in useful when speaking to Angelina, who Jane has become close to in recent months while working together to set up a cancer centre.
Though international papers have reported that the two have already decided on a neat division of their property and joint custody of the children, sources close to the couple insist that “everything is fine”. “They are still very much together. They are even in the process of planning out their Oscar outfits. Brad wanted to make sure he didn’t clash with Angelina, who’s putting some serious thought into her choices. They are still a couple,” said a friend.
