After having sex, my vagina burns. My friend is loyal to me. Is this a matter of concern?
Use some form of contraception during sex to reduce the chances of unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Never compromise on the safety of yourself and your partner.
Repeated bouts of urinary tract infections (UTI) are very common in females. The bacteria enter the female genital tract very easily. The female urethra is anatomically shorter as compared to the male urethra.
The female vaginal and urinary openings are too close and hence the chances of repeated urinary tract infections are more in females. Using a condom till the time of complete cure of infection is highly recommended.
Can touching a condom used by others cause HIV?
The HIV virus does not survive outside the human body for a prolonged period. The virus is definitely detected in the human semen.
Theoretically, the virus can enter the body via numerous small cuts on the fingers. Practically, the chances of transmission of the HIV virus via the above route are nil.
HIV virus can enter the human body either by unprotected sexual intercourse with an infected person, blood transfusion by infected blood, sharing of needles, syringes with unknown partner or from an infected mother to her unborn child.
What are the causes for primary infertility?
Primary infertility is the failure of conception even after one year of regular unprotected sexual intercourse.
The causes are attributed to the male partner in 40 per cent of the cases, to the female partner in another 40 per cent of cases and to both partners in 10 per cent cases. However, in the remaining 10 per cent, no cause can be detected.
