Actor Christian Bale has become a dad again after his wife Sibi Blazic gave birth to their second child.

The 40-year-old and Blazic already have nine-year-old daughter Emmeline together and they welcomed their second child on Monday, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Shortly after the Oscars, websites reported that the actor's wife of 14 years was pregnant.

However, back then, the American Hustle star remained tight-lipped about the new addition. The actor is fiercely protective about his personal life and doesn't share details with the media.

Only a few times, he has opened up about his daughter. In a 2008 Parade profile, he revealed what kind of father he is. "I'm a court jester," Bale revealed. "My wife and daughter come with me on location. It's the most ideal mix. These wonderful distractions actually make me better at what I do," reported E! Online.
