Delhi Photography Club
This non-profit organisation holds classes for beginners for all age groups. Short-term courses for children are available too. You don’t need to have a Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera and any point-and-shoot camera will do. The group also organises heritage photo walks.

Charges: Rs. 6,000 for a five-day course
Institute of Photography
A basic one-month hobby course is available. There is also a three-month basic course that has 24 classes in total. There is a scholarship too. However, to get the scholarship, one needs to take the in-house exam.

Charges: Rs. 10,000 for the hobby class
Delhi School of Photography
The school offers various courses — commercial and advertising, nature and wildlife. There are two short duration courses as well — foundation and advanced. The foundation course has weekend or weekday classes. Students should have their own digital camera.

Let there be Light
The 3-month course has three levels. The two basic levels deals with the artistic and technical part of photography. At the end of the course, the best pictures are put up for exhibition.

Shoots & Shoots Photography Academy
The academy offers a 30-hour basic course. There is a four-month advanced course for those wanting to take up professional, with duration of 80 hours and is extended over a period of four months. Where: I-2 LGF, Jangpura Extension
