Crying scenes tougher than sex for Arunoday Singh?
One may think an actor with just four films to his name might be worried about starring in a film opposite adult film star Sunny Leone. But Arunoday Singh has no qualms about being a part of Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2.
One may think an actor with just four films to his name might be worried about starring in a film opposite adult film star Sunny Leone. But Arunoday Singh has no qualms about being a part of Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2.
He says, “Before I signed the film, I wasn’t too aware of her life. I was just curious to see what she would bring to the table. She is pretty and very sweet, and also works hard on the sets. And since Mahesh Bhatt doesn’t cast just anyone in his films, I knew she would be good.” With Sunny and Randeep Hooda in the cast, does he worry about being overshadowed? He retorts, “When you see the film, you will feel I have left an impression. I can’t take offence to how the film is being promoted because I haven’t earned that (position) yet. Maybe the makers are keeping my role a surprise.”
Having shot intimate scenes in the film, Arunoday knows that people are expecting to see a raunchy Jism 2. “The story has romance and sex, but also draws on pain. I don’t understand the fuss about intimate scenes. Kissing is natural. In fact, doing a crying or emotional scene is tougher, since you have to lay your emotions bare before everyone on set.”
Apart from the film, Arunoday also recently shot for an episode of Bindass Fearless, a show which makes participants face their biggest phobias. He admits he found it exhilarating: “Fear can be overcome only by facing it. It’s the only way.”
