DJ Khushi, who has been rocking Delhiites with his tunes for the last six years, is heading to Bollywood. He is all set to promote his first release, Akshay Kumar’s De Dana Dan, for which he has remixed the title track, Rishtey Natey.

“I’ve been spinning for six years and finally I’m here, ready with my first release,” said Khushi, adding, “Since the last three years, I had been trying to make it in Bollywood. Then I met Pritam, who heard my music and liked it so much that I’m doing three projects with him.”

The DJ, who has earlier remixed tracks for Kunal Deshmukh’s Tum Mile, said, “One night, Pritam called me and said, ‘In 24 hours, I need a song to be remixed. Can you do that?’ My answer was obviously a ‘yes’. With the next flight, I flew to Mumbai to mix Rishtey Natey.”

Since Pritam has been the DJ’s Godfather in the industry, Khushi is going gaga about the composer by tagging him as the “Big Daddy” of tinsel-town. He said, “I got Tum Mile and De Dana Dan through Pritam, because of which I have remixed a track for Main aur Mrs Khanna for T-series and the title track of Kaminey, too.

Pritam has given many hits so far and I think he is the Big Daddy of Bollywood.” At the moment, DJ Khushi kitty boasts projects for Cineyug and music composers Raju Singh, Pritam and Mithun.
