Demi's head on model's body?
The controversy over Demi Moore's picture on the cover of W magazine is witnessing a new twist. It's now being said that even the body is not Demi's but that of supermodel Anja Rubik.entertainment Updated: Nov 26, 2009 02:06 IST
Buzz is that Demi Moore's body on the W magazine cover may not be hers. It may have been replaced by that of supermodel Anja Rubik, with Moore's head superimposed on top.
A spot of airbrushing here and there is to be expected on any magazine cover - but online critics felt that this instance appeared to be one step too far.
Fashion bloggers and readers pointed out that the natural curve of Demi Moore's hip and thigh seemed to be distorted.
W magazine has firmly denied the claims, saying that nothing unusual took place - but a prominent style blog has put forward a far more extreme theory.
The W cover sees the actress sporting a gold Balmain leotard with tassled shoulders and draping around the hips - the same piece was worn by 26-year-old model Anja Rubik on the catwalk during the recent Paris show.
Moore hit back at the rumours by posting the 'original' picture on her Twitter page, insisting the flawless photo never underwent any retouching.
