Walt Disney Pictures India has unveiled the trailer and poster of its first Indian live-action film
here, in Delhi.
Starring Taare Zameen Par child actor Darsheel Safary in the lead, the film is the directorial debut of Satyajit Bhatkal.
"This is a great fantasy film and I had great fun doing it... It's totally different from my last film Taare Zameen Par which was very emotional," Safary said.
Seshasaye Kanthamraju, director, marketing and distribution, Disney India, said "This is just the teaser trailer and the teaser poster of the movie and in times to come, we are going to release more of them."
Others present at the event included recipients of the 2010 children bravery award.
Releasing on May 7, the action-fantasy is a child's tale about realising his extraordinary powers.
It is Disney India' second venture in the country. The studio's first outing was animated venture Roadside Romeo in collaboration with Yash Raj Films that released last year.
