Actor Katrina Kaif is fed up with speculation around her passport. Fans, the media and even actor Deepika Padukone have been curious about the details on her passport, and Katrina says she just doesn’t get it.

“My last name is Turquotte, which I have taken after my mother’s name. I don’t understand this constant scrutiny about my last name. There are other actors too, such as Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, who have got different names on their passports. I wonder why the media doesn’t ask them the same questions!”

Kat also says she has no real friends in Bollywood.

“I share a good professional rapport with my co-stars. Most of my true friends are from outside the industry. Those are the people I can truly count on,” she says.

The actor, who came to India from London in 2003, says she has no friends to go back to. “I left London when I was very young, so I don’t really have any friends there. My home is India, as this is where I have learnt everything that I know today.” Kat says she is a different person outside the glamour world.

“I am not very conscious about fashion. But, on screen, even for ads, I make an effort and give a lot of styling inputs. For instance, during the shooting of the Slice commercial, I was closely involved with planning the look. But, if I am off the screen, give me a pair of jeans and a tee, and I’ll be happy!”
