Highlight Story

When you walk through Gaffar Market in Karol Bagh, you will be greeted by the sight of renowned brands in almost all the shops. But the catch is that all the branded products available at this place are fakes made in Asian countries. So, if you are looking for branded perfumes, bags, lingerie and gadgets at throwaway prices, then this market would probably be the best bet for you. Name the brand and you will find it here and at less than even half of it’s original price.

The market is just five minute away from exit no 3 of the Karol Bagh Metro Station. You can enter the market from the Gurudwara Road.

Get your fakes here
As you enter the market, you’ll be surprised to see a number of luxury brands lined up at various shops on your left. Be it Gucci, Armani, Versace, or Louis Vuitton, you can get any brand at a very low price here.

On your right, you will find shops selling colourful t-shirts, flip-flops, bags, perfumes, and shoes. Straight on, you will reach the MCD market, which is a hub for techies. The shops at this market sell latest mobile handsets like the Apple iPhone, Blackberry and various other brands. You can also find cheap imitations of popular phone brands in this market. For eg, a Chinese iPhone would cost you only Rs2,500 here!

Where to eat
There are a lot of eating options here. Before you enter the market, take a left to find Tera Hotel, a vegetarian food joint that serves a variety of dishes. Walk towards your left and reach Khurana’s, which is popular for its non-veg thali, priced at Rs140. For quenching your thirst from all that shopping, take a right from here to find White House, a juice corner, which will be on the left. Go for the sweet lime juice (Rs30) here. When here, don’t miss Roshan di Kulfi, where you can enjoy the kulfi faluda kesar badam pista for Rs60. Also, do visit the Standard Barfee shop for its Indian food.

Parking
The parking of this usually crowded market is at the Gurudwara Road, which is a five minute walk away from the Karol Bagh Metro Station.
