The filmmaker is rebuilding relations with the Khans.
After a one year-old fallout, the choreographer turned filmmaker caught up with once best friend Shah Rukh Khan at an awards function. Farah spent 15 minutes in his vanity van backstage and showed him recent pictures of her triplets. It may not mean the two becoming best friends again, but it is certainly a call for truce. “It takes exactly five seconds to hug and make up. Whatever has happened between Shah Rukh and me is between us. I knew that when we eventually met, all would be fine,” she said later.
According to reports Khan has been feeling low about the debacle of Tees Maar Khan, and actor Salman Khan has come to her rescue. Salman, who had also organised her recent birthday bash, apparently called her up and told her that she shouldn’t feel bad and that he will star in her next film. Salman also told her that if she was jittery of scripting another film so soon, he would find a script that he likes and she could direct it. Farhan, however, has said that she has started writing her next film.
Works with Aamir
Farah, who only choreographs for her won films, made an exception for Aamir Khan. Aamir has roped in Farah for his home production Delly Belly. “Yes, I’m doing a song for Aamir’s Delhi Belly because he has asked me to,” she said, adding “I don't actively do choreography any more. Only a song here or there for friends. Besides Aamir’s song, I will be doing the Housefull 2 numbers for my brother Sajid and, of course, my husband Shirish Kunder’s Joker. That's it for now.”
