Tanaaz and ManyataActress Shilpa Shetty’s swanky new club in Mumbai is meant to be posh and high-end. But, the launch party drew flak from entertainment blogs — thanks to the trashy fashions of guests, including the host, her husband and sister.

Some blogs are calling the well attended party hosted by Shetty and husband Raj Kundra for Royalty — touted as the most expensive club in India with 100 honorary members and 15 “friends of royalty” — a fashion disaster.

Shilpa’s clingy gold dress, Raj’s “cool dude” look and Shamita’s black “bin-liner” dress were panned by at least four sites. Prashant Gunjalkar, a partner in the venture, said, “It’s a posh club and we want people to come in smart dress.”

Launch night saw celebs turn out in jeans and tight T-shirts, top-to-toe leopard print, super-short and tight dresses and curtain-like billowing crushed velvet skirt.

Manyata Dutt was also singled out for flaunting a red bra underneath a top that fell off her one shoulder.
