Freida Pinto may have become famous after the success of Slumdog Millionaire at the Academy Awards, but she still has to go home and tidy her room after the Oscars.
The 24-year-old actress has said that her folks won’t let her overnight fame go to her head, and have asked her to fly home and clean her room.
“I have to go back to tidy it or they’ll be very cross,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
Pinto played the lead in Danny Boyle’s rags to riches tale, which went on to win eight Oscars, including the Best Original Score and Best Song prizes for A. R. Rahman.
And Freida herself has been signed on to star in a Woody Allen film
