Bond girl Halle Berry was left perplexed when she found out a portrait of Indian independence leader Mahatma Gandhi spray painted on her front gate.

Los Angeles police made a brief visit to actress Halle Berry's house on Friday after she complained that a portrait of Indian independence leader Mahatma Gandhi has been spray painted on her front gate.

Cops were called for investigation. They are looking into the vandalism case but have not found any suspects as of now, contactmusic.com reports.

However, now the Gandhi portrait has been scrubbed off from the gate.
