Producer Vipul Shah is shocked at the claims of Pandit Bhagwat Guruji, who said that he got actors John Abraham and Genelia D’Souza married off while shooting for a wedding sequence in their new film Force. Apparently, the mantras that were chanted were real. Shah says that the priest is just looking for his 15 minutes of fame.

“Countless number of weddings have been performed in Hindi cinema, but this is the first time that I have come across someone so keen to be in the limelight that he can go far enough to claim to have married the actors off,” Shah said in a statement.

“I don’t hold anything against Pandit Bhagwat Guru

ji

but will not let anyone point a finger at the leading lady of my film in this manner. He is only looking out for his 15 minutes of fame without any real standing. The whole incident is bizarrely shocking and there is no truth to it at all. Any such claims should be dismissed as a desperate attempt to gain attention,” he added.
