Minissha LambaShe may be living the dream in tinseltown, but actress Minissha Lamba hasn’t forgotten the journey that took her there. On a recent trip to the Capital, the actress reminisced about her days in Delhi University’s Miranda College, saying that was a formative time in her life. "Miranda has shaped my personality. We had an amazing set of teachers, who took pains to educate us," says the actress. That said, Lamba confesses she had her share of fun in college. "I would bunk classes so much during college that my teachers even threatened to flunk me," she laughs.

Another thing Lamba, who was in Delhi to launch Josh mobiles, remembers fondly is the film Yahaan, in which she played a Kashmiri girl. “Yahaan was a path breaking film for me — it got me so much affection,” she says.

The actress, who says she “came to Bollywood without any prior knowledge and learnt along the way,” is currently busy working on a comedy film titled Hum Tum Aur Shabana, in which she stars alongside actors Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade.

She reveals that her co-stars “inspire me to work towards a higher level.” On a different note, the actress also confesses she has a huge crush on Salman Khan.

The actress also shares her mantra for dealing with the scorching summer heat. “When there is work, you just have to work. But, I cool of with lassi and nimbu paani,” she says.
