Bigg Boss 4

runner-up, WWE wrestler Dalip Singh Rana, better known as The Great Khali and producer-director Mahesh Bhatt’s gym-trainer son Rahul will be opening a series of gymnasiums across the world. The duo plans to have at least one property in every country.

“We didn’t have a lot of gymming equipments in the House. But I took my job seriously and started training all the inmates on the treadmill and the cycle. I regulated their diet, though we had little to distribute and eat, but we still ensured that we eat right, and eat well,” says Bhatt, who’s been training Bollywood celebrities at his gym.

Khali and Bhatt met through the show and while they were still in the House, they decided to take their association forward once the show ends. “Khali, visibly, was one of the healthiest inmates. He and I have a common liking for regular exercise, being cautious with food regime, and maintaining overall body fitness. We even exercised together,” recalls Bhatt with a smile. “I exited the show pretty early, but by then we had a rough idea of what we really wanted to do once the show ends. And now, we are going to meet and work out the details.”

Bhatt was expected to make his Bollywood debut over a year ago. But now, his first love seems to be health and fitness. Ask him if he also plans to write books on the subject and he admits, “I’d love to, but that will take me roughly two years. It’s something that I’d want to do at some point for sure,” he says.

Meanwhile, he’s decided to focus on working out and making his clients work out on a regular basis too. Quiz him about which Bollywood star has the best body at the moment and Bhatt immediately answers, “Salman Khan, without a second thought.

has got a great body and he works out really hard to maintain it so well. He’s the kind of person who everyone will look up to in terms of fitness.”
