As one of the most endearing children’s book characters, Noddy, comes to town for a live show next week, everyone in the city is geared up to watch him in action.
Many famous faces of the Capital have already bought their tickets for Noddy in Toyland, a theatrical production by noted UK-based group, Premier Production. Presented by Hindustan Times’ Fever Entertainment, the hour-and-a-half-long performance will see theatre actors bring alive the 63-year-old series on stage.
Delhi celebs are all kicked about the performance. Sharing her excitement about Noddy being in town, model Sonalika Sahay says, “I’m glad that this iconic character from Enid Blyton’s book is finally coming to my city. I have read Blyton’s books as a child, and now, my elder daughter Zana enjoys reading Noddy books. I’m looking forward to experience the magic with my kids.”
“We all grew up reading Noddy books and had so much to learn from him and his friends in a fun-filled way. I’m glad that my kids can do the same today. It’s a great initiative. I’ll go to the show with my son Adhiraj,” says emcee and model Ramneek Pantal.
“Noddy has been a part of our lives since we were kids, and now to see the excitement in my kids’ eyes when I take his name, is nostalgic,” says designer Nikhil Mehra.
