Noomi Rapace would play a CIA interrogator in Unlocked, a spy thriller directed by fellow Swede Michael Hafstrom.
Tricked by a terrorist, the character ends up at the centre of a plot to launch a biological attack on London.
Unlocked will be Michael Hafstrom's next feature after the 2013 action movie Escape Plan, which starred Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Pending negotiations, the filmmaker will now direct Noomi Rapace, who rose to fame through the Swedish adaptation of the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy.
The Swedish actor co-stars with Tom Hardy in The Drop and Child 44, two features due in theaters in 2014. She is also in the cast of the sequel to Ridley Scott's Prometheus.
Noomi Rapace plays the integral part of Elizabeth Shaw in the film.
