Hollywood actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has left his entire 21 million pound fortune in the name of his long-term partner, Mimi O’Donnell, instead of his children.

The 46-year-old Oscar-winning star, who had a 10-year-old son Cooper, and two daughters — Tallulah (7) and Willa (5) — with O’Donnell, had told his accountant David Friedman that he wanted his children to make it on their own, and not be known as ‘trust fund’ kids.

After Friedman stated in the documents presented to Manhattan Surrogate Court, that Hoffman had treated his partner of 14 years just like his spouse, the court’s attorney said that there shouldn’t be any problem in accepting the late star’s wishes as there was nothing suspicious.

Hoffman, who had been sober for 23 years before falling prey to drugs again, was found dead due to an overdose at his New York flat in February.
