Ellen DeGeneres epic selfie has come to stand for everything that was fun at Oscars 2014. However, there are other images that you simply cannot miss. Saw the one where Leonardo DiCaprio airkisses Matthew McConaughey?

1 Comic and talk show star Ellen DeGeneres returned as Oscar host  bringing a deadpan affability, and free pizza, to the Academy Awards show while still poking fun at Hollywood royalty. She handed a faux consolation prize — a pair of lottery tickets — to supporting actor nominee Bradley Cooper; took a selfie snapshot with a group of nominees that was swiftly re-tweeted more than two million times; and even ushered a pizza delivery guy into the auditorium to hand out slices to the stars, then called on producer Harvey Weinstein to pay the tip. “No pressure, only a billion people are watching, whatever you feel is right,” she shouted.

When Hollywood superstars had pizza, on telly!

2While the Ellen DeGeneres selfie broke records on Twitter, Benedict Cumberbatch went one step further when he photo-bombed all of U2. The photo, needless to say, went viral.

3Jennifer Lawrence tumbled on the red carpet, again. Adding insult to injury, Lupita Nyong’o walked away with the trophy of Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

4 Matthew McConaughey walked away with the trophy for Best Actor. The result did not go down well with the tweeple rooting for Leonardo DiCaprio. Many took to the micro-blogging site to vent their anger. However, the two stars seem to be quite chummy-chummy here. This was one picture rabid Leo fans did not see, or wanted to see.

Kiss and don't tell: Leonardo DiCaprio and Matthew McConaughey.

5 There was a rash of me-too collective selfies after Ellen broke records. One was posted by Mandira Bedi and had Shah Rukh Khan, Punit Malhotra and Kunal Kohli among others. There's a reason why Bollywood sounds like 'me-too' country cousin of Hollywood!
Move over Hollywood, we are here too!
