Hrithik bags Best Actor for Jodha Akbar at IIFA

Bollywood hearththrobs Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra on Saturday won the best actor and actress trophy respectively at the 10th annual IIFA awards here.

Bollywood hearththrobs Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra today won the best actor and actress trophy respectively at the 10th annual IIFA awards here.

Hrithik who was pitted against Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah, Shahrukh Khan, won the award for his portrayal of Moghul Emperor Akbar in Ashutosh Gowariker's magnus opus 'Jodha Akbar'.

While Priyanka won the coveted prize for her role of a small town girl who makes its big in the fashion world with grit and determination in Madhur bhandarkar's 'Fashion'.

Her other competitors in this category were Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Asin, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif.

With the IIFA, both Hrithik and Priyanka have swept all the major film awards in Bollywood.
