entertainment Updated: Nov 28, 2010 18:31 IST

Hrithik Roshan who's basking in the critical acclaim for his role in Guzaarish, would not have imagined that a Twitter post would result in an angry backlash by his fans against one Twitter user.

The actor retweeted a message about the alleged pirated viewing of his current release Guzaarish. The tweet said, "This guy @Biorahul was watching on pirated DVD. Catch him".

Little did he know that his fans won't take this tweet lightly. Soon, Hrithik profile page was bombarded with angry Hrithikmessages by his fans against the guy "who was watching the pirated version of Guzaarish".

The guy who was in the middle of this Twitter brouhaha was appalled. "I feel a bit frustrated with the episode because I like Hrithik Roshan as an actor and I had seen Guzaarish in a theatre only. What was meant to be for fun turned out to be ugly because die-hard Hrithik fans started abusing me."

Hrithik Roshan urged his Twitter fans to calm down. "Guys, let's leave him alone! Ethan would!"
