She started the trend of size-zero with her stunning slim figure in Tashan but Bollywood queen Kareena Kapoor feels that she is better than size-zero.
Kareena's new figure has earned her both praises as well as criticism.
On one hand, the actress has been credited with promoting healthy lifestyle and the benefits of yoga while on the other hand she has been termed as anorexic by many.
"I think I am not size-zero atleast I look better than that I believe in the power of yoga and I swear by it," she said.
Kareena who was here for the launch of a 'Beauty Advisor Training Programme' by Anne French feels that her good figure and glowing skin can be attributed to the fact that she "drinks lots of water and is a hard core veggie".
The Jab We Met star is also considered a youth icon.
"I identify myself with the youth of this country it is a responsibility if I am considered a youth icon," she told reporters.
Kareena starts her day with "60 surya namaskars for half an hour" feels that "yoga is a way of life".
"If I don't do yoga for a day I feel something is amiss. I don't believe in slogging out in a gym or running on a treadmill because gyms are full of AC's. One hour of yoga is enough," she quips.
"People are bored of me I am continuously asking them to stop taking meat and protect our animals," she says elaborating about the benefits of eating healthy.
The star who has an slew of releases lined up in 2009 is excited about working with Aamir Khan in Raju Hirani's 3 Idiots.
"Till now we have completed only one schedule but I feel lucky and blessed to be working with Aamir, both him and Raju Hirani are fiery combination," she says.
Kareena is equally perked for Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakht Ishq where she teams up with Akshay Kumar. The film was in news for having a host of Hollywood biggies like Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and a host of other stars.
"The Hollywood stars have acted in only one scene. The film is more than that," Kareena quickly adds when asked how was it working with them.
The actress is happy that Hollywood is gradually opening up to the Hindi film industry.
"We have Danny Boyle and Denise Richards coming to the film industry. I think now we will wait for Brad Pitt to come," the style diva noted.
On a lighter note the actress who is dating Saif Ali Khan said that she would be "busy shooting on the Valentine's Day".
"I don't believe in the concept of Valentine's Day. Those who want to celebrated may celebrate or otherwise sleep in their homes," Kareena says.
"I have also no plans to marry for atleast 5 years, currently I am very busy with my work," she adds revealing her wedding plans.
The actress however refused to comment on her reported cold vibes with her contemporary Katrina Kaif.
On her item number Marjani with Shahrukh Khan for the film Billu Barber which is ruling the music charts Kareena says," I am happy Marjani is such a big hit. I had worked with Shahrukh in Don for the song Ye mera dil I think people like us in more songs than in films."
The star is very happy with the kind of acceptance Slumdog Millionaire received especially proud of the Oscar nomination for AR Rahman.
"I think we all love Rahman. His music is amazing. I am happy Indian films are being accepted," she says.
