When asked about the Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia case at a press conference on Monday (June 23), Ranbir said a woman’s choice should be respected. “I am not following the case closely. Preity is a very strong and independent girl. I have interacted with her a lot and met Ness a couple of times. I really don’t know what happened between them. It is unfair for me to comment on it. But I am very clear that no woman should be touched if she doesn’t want to be touched. That is the basic rule that every man has to follow.”

At the same event, when asked would he love to go on a bike ride with Katrina Kaif, said "who would not!"

The Barfi star said, "Of course who would not like to sit behind Katrina on a bike, but like I said it's very hard to take somebody double seat as it needs balance. As of now I have never taken anybody double seat nor have I ridden a motor bike which is as heavy as the bike she rode. But I guess after practicing I might probably ask her."

Speaking on the occasion, he also condemned all the rumours about him moving out of his parent's house and clarified, "I live with my parents and I really feel bad that my life has become like a reality show. My parents are old and I don't want them to read such stuff about me because it's embarrassing for them, but yes we all have to move out of the house because we are going for redevelopment."

When questioned on his recent Cape Town pictures with Kaif, he said, "We are doing a movie together. We were shooting Jagga Jassos in Cape Town so of course pictures will come out and we all are actors so that's all I have to say."
