There was a time when Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan were considered professional rivals and were often pitted against each other. But ever since Kapoor Khan called the former her sister-in-law on
, and also admitted that they have hung out a couple of times (Katrina is rumoured to be in a relationship with Kareena’s cousin Ranbir Kapoor), things seem to have taken a cordial turn.
Now, Katrina has gone all out to say that Kareena has always supported her and been extremely kind to her.
"Kareena has always been supportive. Actually, she has been openly supportive on many different occasions. And I have heard this from several people. It has always come back to me. And what people do behind your back rather than in front of you is more important. She has spoken well about me. So, obviously I have a lot of fondness for her. She has always been extremely kind," says Katrina.
But the eternal question persists — can female actors be friends? Katrina quashes all rumours of catfights, saying that people in the industry barely have time to regularly interact, forget indulging in catfights.
"There are no such catfights. More than anything else, people [from the industry] rarely interact with each other. The only people who I [regularly] see are from my social circle outside the industry," says Katrina, adding, "No one’s going around fighting with each other or pulling one another’s hair."
