At this very moment, Celina Jaitly is in Auckland for the premiere of her first English language movie,

Love Has No Language

. Her

Golmaal Returns

has clicked big time. And according to the trade, she has been finalised for an international project –

The Quest of Scheherazade

an Arabian Nights Fantasy

. Strong chances are that Sean Connery and Orlando Bloom will be in the movie too.

Love Has No Language

Ha, comparisons are odious! See, I play a woman of Indian origin called Marina Roy. That didn’t come easy because I had to learn the Kiwi accent. You know, the English spoken by New Zealanders is quite different from ours.

So far, the press reviews have been fabulous. They’re all quite upbeat and have appreciated my performance. The film’s worldwide release, however, has been postponed to January 15 next year, because they don’t want to clash with

Quantum of Solace

. But the release date hasn’t been altered for Australia, Fiji islands and New Zealand.

On the hit status of

Golmaal Returns

I couldn’t have asked for a better Diwali gift. I’m told the film continues to gross high collections. It’s among the Top 10 movies in the U K. The reviews for my performance have also been positive. The British media has found me the most lovable character after Tusshar (Kapoor) and Shreyas (Talpade).

On being seen only briefly in

Golmaal Returns

Please don’t confuse my role with Amrita Arora’s. My role was at par with Kareena Kapoor’s. Plenty of characters made the movie what it is. So, one character couldn’t feature in all the frames. (Laughs) If you feel you saw less of me, please ring up Rohit Shetty and file a complaint.

On a tabloid story which said she was upset about the Kareena Kapoor-centric promotions

I was a bit taken aback by that report because I was the only actress who went completely out to promote the film. I wasn’t too happy about the initial promotion layout but later things settled.

On hanging around with the boys..

and the girls ganging up against her during a Goa schedule.

I don’t go to the sets to make friends. At the end of the day, I’m a professional. I must say that the boys.. Tusshar, Shreyas and Ajay (Devgan) were very supportive. So was director Rohit Shetty.

They were all very helpful.. while shooting for the funniest scenes, I was going through personal trauma. My brother had been involved in a serious road accident. I don’t know how I managed to give those shots well. I stuck to my professionalism..which is why I’m doing the next one in the

On.. aha.. romance

Soon I hope. Something within me says it’s on the cards. There’s no dearth of men in this world but I don’t want to date guys and eventually throw them out. I will not date a man simply to do away with my loneliness.
