I don't take success or failure seriously: Bebo
Kareena Kapoor who is basking in the success of Kambakkht Ishq tells Minakshi Saini that it feels good when a movie fares well at the box-office, but success and failure no longer affects her.entertainment Updated: Jul 20, 2009 20:14 IST
How are you taking the success of Kambakkht Ishq?
I neither take success so seriously nor do failures affect me. Some films do well while some don’t, but yes, it feels good that audiences have liked this one.
What has been the feedback from your family and friends?
My sister Karisma has not yet seen the film but my parents enjoyed it. Saif especially loved my look [in the film].
In which film does Saif like you the most — Omkara, Jab We Met or Kambakkht Ishq?
Saif is quite clear that he likes the glamorous Kareena. He says that I’m the only actress who can look glamorous while doing Omkara or a Jab We Met or a Kambakkht Ishq.
Did you get to speak with any of your Hollywood co-stars after the film’s success?
No. But yes, the New York Times review was overwhelming. So I hope they must be equally happy.
After watching Kambakkht Ishq, Katrina Kaif declared that she’s your fan...
I think it’s really sweet of her to say this. We are really good friends, contrary to all the media reports.
Are you planning to come up with your designer line?
I’m in talks with some international designers. I’m planning to fly down to the US post-October to fix all that, then I will take a call.
Is the buzz about you coming on Facebook true?
Yes, I will be on Facebook next week to interact with my fans.
Why aren’t you a full-time member of any social networking sites?
One, because I lack time to do this. And secondly, there are some things that I want to make public...[and some] which I want to keep to myself. So I avoid socialising much.
