Rakhi Sawant

RakhiThe item queen is soon going to be setting small screen ablaze with her dance moves… ahem, and much more. Rakhi Sawant is coming face-to-face with ex-beau Abhishek Awasthi on Star Plus' show Zara Nach ke Dikha. Fireworks are sure to happen even as Rakhi says she will shed her 'darama queen' image.

In a chat with HT.com about the upcoming show Rakhi says, Maine Abhishek ko maff kar diya hai. (I have forgiven Abhishek). The actress also revealed that it has been a painful journey but she is ready to move on.

Ye bahut painful hai mere liye, woh sub purani baatein yaad aayengi par main ek professional hun or mere liye pehle kam hai. (It is very painful because it will be nostalgic but I am a professional first and it is my first priority), says Rakhi.

Despite an engagement on the televised Swayamwar and then the break-up on another reality TV show with Elesh Parujanwala, Rakhi still feels hurt recalling all those romantic moments spent with Abhishek. She says,Haan ye sach hai bahut kuch yaad ayega par mujhe apne aap par control hai aur mujhe karna padega (Yes, that's true all those moments will come back to me, I can control myself and I'll have to do it.)

Well, if it hurts so much, is she looking at the possibility of patching up. Pat comes the reply, Nahi koi chance nahi hai ab patch up ka (No there is no chance for a conciliation.) She is going to perform as a contestant and not beyond that.

Abhishek Awashi, on the other hand, is rather cold about the fact that he will be sharing a stage with his ex-flame. He says, "I'm going to perform in the show with lots of people, not alone with Rakhi. We will work as a team."

While Rakhi still seems to have a soft corner for Abhishek, her ex-boyfriend has moved on and wants to focus on his work alone.

Abhishek is also ready to go bride hunting again. He says, "I am searching for a nice girl and as soon as I will get one I will marry. Maybe next year." All the best for that Mr Awasthi!

Let's wait and see how Rakhi holds up with all that emotional baggage. Going by her past, she'll give tongues enough ammo to wag.
