The first thing I have in the morning: On a working day, I’m up by seven o’clock, especially if it’s an early shift. After bathing, I have tea and breakfast comprising three egg whites (poached), some toasted bread and a glass of juice.
My diet: Is non-vegetarian.
My lunch: When I’m shooting, I’d rather have hot unit food than carry my tiffin from home. If I am at home, I like to eat dal, sabzi or chicken. I avoid red meat as far as possible, but make concessions for an occasional biryani.
I love eating: Seafood. I am basically a seafood person. There is always a lot of fish at home. I love having prawns; in fact, I thrive on them.
I dislike: Curry patta, especially when it sticks to my mouth. I also detest karela.
My evening snack: I rarely snack in between meals, but I must have my cup of tea in the evening.
My ice-box contains: Other than ice, there is always water and lots of fruits.
I restrict my intake of: Tea, to around three cups in a day. But this becomes difficult at times because tea is served very frequently on the sets during film shootings.
My dinner: Is generally on the same lines as my lunch. But I have to make a confession — I go overboard eating during dinner sometimes.
My favourite dessert: I freak out on good food and good desserts, though I may not look like a dessert person. My fridge is incomplete without ice creams.
I have a soft corner for: Biryanis
My favourite cuisine besides Indian: Italian.
Restaurants that I love frequenting: I like visiting Italian, Chinese and Thai restaurants.
My favourite mocktail: Virgin pina colada.
My favourite beverage: Apple juice.
My culinary abilities: I can cook good Italian food, especially pastas. I also bake scrumptious walnut brownies.
