Actor Mahi Gill was seen glowing and blushing when she walked the ramp for Gitanjali on Day 1 of the ongoing India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) at Hyatt, Mumbai. Reason: She’s in love.
“Yes, I’m dating someone,” the Dev D actor says. The next expected question is that is she dating someone from Bollywood? The actor replies, “No, he’s not from Bollywood, he’s into shipping. But I will take couple of years to settle down.”
Her personal life apart, the actor has some interesting film projects too. She plays lead in Not A Love Story, based on the murder of TV executive Neeraj Grover, directed by Ram Gopal Verma. The next is Sahib Biwi and Murder, with Randeep Hooda and Buddha In Traffic Jam by Vivek Agnihotri. “I’m very excited about Not A Love Story and Buddha In Traffic Jam. I hope these movies do well,” says Mahi, who has her list of Bollywood favourites. “I’ve already worked with Naseeruddin Shah and I would love to work with Kamal Hassan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan. All of them are fabulous and very talented.”
Bollywood’s female actors are famous for getting into catfights with each other. But Mahi says she maintains cordial relations with all her female actors. “I’ve worked with so many Bollywood female actors, and never had any issues. I’ve never had problem with anyone,” she says.
